Removing stains with baby wipes

Kids have a knack of staining their clothes in new and wonderful ways on a daily basis. They dribble food everywhere, get grass stains on their knees, sweat stains on their shirts and dirt all over their shoes. You’ve probably tried just about every stain remover on the market. Some work and others are just a waste of money. Though the key to getting rid of a stain is to treat it with a stain remover as soon as possible. You don’t want to give it time to set in.

There are all sorts of stain sticks and on-the-go stain removers you can carry with you to treat stains on the spot. That being said, if you have kids, chances are that you already have one of the best stain removers on the market in your bag. Baby wipes!

Baby wipes are great for treating all different types of stains. Simply dab the stain you are trying to remove with a moist baby wipe. Before you know it, the stain will be gone and your clothes will be stain free.

Baby wipes work really well on shoes too, especially white sports shoes.

Best of all, they are easy to carry with you so you can have them ready on the spot when you get a stain on the go.

Wet Wipes work really well to prevent stains because the alcohol disrupts the protein bonds with the fabric, which are the more difficult stains like blood to remove.

Thanks for reading Debra 🙂 I find the plainest supermarket wipes the best. Unscented plain wipes that don’t contain any moisturisers or fragrances. Best of luck.

Hi. I realize this blog subject is old, but I hope you’ll get this question: What brand of Baby Wipes do you think works the best?

I’m getting ready to send a ton of clothes to consignment, and I don’t want to have to wash them if I can treat a stain here or a little collar grime there with baby wipes.

I’ll watch for an answer here for a couple of days. Thanks for your help…. Debra Lee
